Replaced hot water heater (40 gal). Replaced galvanized pipe from water meter to existing copper pipes. Added a main water turn-off valve that is more accessible. Everything went as planned. No unexpected surprises. Left basement in very good condition. Our hot water heater was definitely on borrowed time!

After my third-floor neighbor complained about water dripping down the inside of a wall in his kitchen, Twin City Pipeworks located a cracked and leaking cast-iron drain pipe from the kitchen and laundry room of my unit--but that was only the beginning. Working with a carpenter, they removed a long section of hardwood flooring only to find the pipe was below the joists in my unit. That meant the only way to really fix the problem was to work from below. Together, they figured out a way that minimized the mess and inconvenience to my neighbors and insured there will be no repeat problem in the future. This was a complex and vexing problem--but they did it well! I will definitely call again for any future plumbing question.

Dave, came to my home several times to access the problem with the downstairs plumbing. It was a complicated situation with plumbing that wasn't done properly and needed to be dealt with immediately. Dave and his partner replaced the plumbing and fixed some of the plumbing that wasn't pitched properly and also took care of a leak on the second floor. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing job.
